ABOUT HOPE PROJECT STL

Where Connection Creates Hope

Hope Project STL is a nonprofit equine-assisted learning organization outside St. Louis, Missouri. Through hands-on, non-riding experiences with horses, we create opportunities for connection, confidence, communication, personal growth, and hope.

OUR STORY

Hope Started With a Shared Vision

Hope Project STL began with a shared vision between Steve and Greg: to create a peaceful, judgment-free place where people could connect with horses, build trust, and find hope. With the farm and horses already here, they began researching nonprofits and Equine-Assisted Learning and turned that vision into something real.

Hope first focused on veterans, active-duty military, and first responders, while also welcoming others carrying trauma, loss, or life’s challenges. What started as an idea has grown into a caring community built around connection, confidence, and the belief that no one should have to face life alone.

WHO WE SERVE

A Place for Connection, Growth & Hope

Hope Project STL serves active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and members of our community through meaningful experiences alongside horses.

Our programs provide a welcoming place to build confidence, strengthen connections, practice life skills, and grow through hands-on equine-assisted learning.
